The Purpose

The purpose of the project was to conduct a Cultural Resource Survey on the neighborhood of Normandy Village in Fredericksburg, VA and to determine whether the area as a whole or any individual structures located inside its perimeter were eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.

Personal Contributions

• Used Adobe InDesign to create the design and layout of the entire report

• Wrote the Executive Summary section and the Methodology section

• Assisted in importing, editing, and analyzing data in Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software

• Surveyed and documented forty-some properties within the neighborhood
