After creating t-shirt designs for Preservation Virginia’s Old Cape Henry Lighthouse, it was decided that two of the designs would be printed onto stickers for the lighthouse’s museum shop as well.

The first design clearly states the name of the site and its location. During the day, a lighthouse is distinguishable based on its exterior. The sticker showcases Old Cape Henry’s red Rappahannock sandstone exterior walls and copper lantern room.

The second has the Old Cape Henry light shining over waves. The lighthouse was first lit on November 17, 1792. Although the light was extinguished and decommissioned in December 1881, the tower is still fixed at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay due to its historical ties to the Founding Fathers.
