Chesley has an eye for design and appreciates creativity. She is passionate about the creative process – whether it is drafting in AutoCAD, modeling in SketchUp, sculpting, or designing graphics – because it gives her the energy to work on it all day and all night.
She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Historic Preservation from the University of Mary Washington. She is currently pursuing a Master of Urban & Regional Planning from Virginia Commonwealth University. As a future urban planner, her goal is to combine her knowledge of historic preservation and city planning. This combined knowledge will help an area’s economy and community through the arts, preservation, and revitalization.
